Hello Sharks!

It was a fantastic meet last night with the Sharks winning against the BHR Mustangs. Congrats to all our swimmers who endured rain and a long night.  Look out for the swimmer of the week email from Coach. 

Thanks to our volunteers and a special thanks to Liz Glenn who did set up with help from James and Anna Lindeen and the guards. And to John and Laurie Fasano who help set up the upper deck tech and ribbons. 

Next week let's really celebrate our 3rd HOME meet of the season with something fun! Pull out your Hawiian shirts, skirts, dresses etc. Don't have anything to wear? No worries, we'll have Leis to give out! 

Here's your weekly schedule of reminders:

1. Thursday 7/25 is practice. Declare your swimmers and volunteer early!

2. Friday 7/26 - before you head out for a busy weekend DECLARE YOUR SWIMMER and sign up to volunteer

• not attending the meet? But are here this weekend, help to make a Welcome sign for the Planter's Walk Piranhas! Email us at [email protected] and we'll get you the paper. 
• have a Shark pup who wants to swim the final Home Meet ? Email [email protected] so we can change their status to competitive.

3. Saturday 7/27- If you didn't declare on Friday - please, please declare your swimmer by 5 pm. Coach Jen is going out of town so we need to help her out with getting the line up done before she leaves. Coach Maddie will be the main Coach for Tuesday's meet. 

4. Sunday 7/28- last minute line up changes. Swimmer sign up is closed

5. Monday  7/29- regular practice. 

6. Tuesday 7/30- HOME meet. 

• Swimmers should be on deck by 5 pm. 
• All volunteers should be on deck no later than 5:30 pm (earlier is even better).  If you are concessions/snow cones it is imperative that you be on time. We can not run concessions with 1 person when you have over 200 people on deck. 
• If you are on deck at 5 pm, please pitch in to help with any last minute set up jobs. 

Again - summer swim needs to be fun so let's do it by helping out each other so that all families can enjoy our swimmers!   

If you want to learn meet admin (tech table by pool) this is your last chance before I say adieu to the team - come by the tech table - there'll be a seat for you. I usually arrive by 4:30 to set up the computer.
