Information from Zebulon

June 6th

here is the information from Zebulon about Tuesday’s meet. Please note that they asked us not to write on people’s backs with permanent marker. We can write numbers on both upper arms instead and can still do heat and Lane information on the arms. Also if you have not declared for the meet yet, please do so today! Thank you!

If you are interested in swimming in a parent relay, let me know. Also, any six and unders that want to attempt butterfly will do so for fun and get a treat at the end. Please let me know ahead of time if your swimmer would like to do this

We are looking forward to a great meet, great weather, and great fun! Below is important information to share with your team.

Location

Weavers Pond Pool 4000 Weavers Pond Dr. Zebulon, NC 27597

Directions from US 264 East Bypass:

  • Take the Zebulon exit
  • Turn left at the end of the ramp
  • Go straight through the traffic lights (pass Sheetz)
  • Turn right onto Pippin Road
  • At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Weavers Pond Road
  • Pool is on the left

Special Note

Please do not use markers on the backs of swimmers.It stains the pool chairs and is very difficult to remove. If you must use a permanent marker, please place markings on areas that do not come in contact with seating — e.g., upper arm.


Parking

  • Pool parking is reserved for you, our visitors — first come, first served
  • Overflow parking is available at:Wakelon Elementary School / Town of Zebulon Park 8921 Pippin Road, Zebulon, NC
  • Drop-offs may be made at the pool circle
  • Do NOT park on the streets leading to either lot
  • Carpooling is highly recommended due to limited parking

Important: This pool is only used for meets. Please help us care for the facility by respecting the following: 🚫 Do NOT use or enter:

  • Playground
  • Soccer field
  • Water feature

Team Set-Up

  • Enter through the main clubhouse entrance
  • Your team’s area is on the near side, to the right of the clubhouse
  • A few poolside seats are reserved for coaches
  • Bring chairs — seating is limited and deck space is tight

Pool Details

  • 6-lane pool
  • Limited lighting
  • Diving starts at both ends (5 ft deep end, 3'6" shallow end)
  • No diving blocks
  • Heats may be combined to stay efficient
  • Please have your Clerk of Course arrive by 5:15 PM for coordination.

Concessions

  • Drinks & snacks will be available at the concession stand. We will also have Quesadilla and Hot Dog meals (chips & drink included) for $6. Cash and credit will be accepted.
  • Sunset Slush will also be on-site!
Schedule
  • Warm-ups: 5:30 PM
  • Volunteer Meeting: 5:45 PM (under tent by Lane 6)

Bonus Events (If Time Permits):

🦋 6 & Under Butterfly Heat

  • Swimmers who complete the full 25 yards will receive a small treat!
  • Please let us know how many swimmers you'll have and any food allergies

🤽♂️ Parent/Coach Freestyle Relay

  • We'd love for your parents and coaches to form relay teams
  • Multiple heats possible if participation allows
